#The aim of thiz study was to represent the philosophy of Imam Khomeini and to examine the roost and the development of his policies in Iran. This study was an attempt to demonstrare the indivisibility of religion and politics in Islam and the theoretical development of the shiite school of thought that provided spirit to the revolution and legitimized the establishment of an Islamic republic under the supreme authority of a muslim jurisprudence )faqih(.The study has continued with discussion of the need for and form of an Islamic government according to Imam Khomeini's philosophy. The main concentration of the study, however, was on Imam Khomini's line whit regard to the function of an Islamic government specially on the matters of solidarity of government whit the masses, women , revolution, foreign policy, economic policy, Islamic army, mass communication media, and minority groups. I has also discussed Imam Khomeini's views on the necessity of Islamic unity aginst imperialism and as remedy for the miseries afflicting the Muslim people. In spite of the world hostility against the Islamic revolution and its leadership, the islamic republic of Iran is both holding its ground and extending its influence for bye and its borders.
