Summary: The three main areas of construction disputes are discussed in this book namely, conceptualization, negotiation and mediation. Construction disputes serve as the skeleton of the book. This book gives a comprehensive explanation on how disputes correlate with human, legal and economic factor. Negotiation and mediation are considered to be cost-effective means to settle construction disputes. A brief introduction to construction mediation in Hong Kong and other countries is given to let readers have more understanding on this topic.
