متن يادداشت
Muḥammad b. Muḥammad al-Ḥasanī al-Andalusī al-Bulaydī (b. 1094/1683, d. 1176/1763) was a prominent Egyptian scholar. He was born to a Maghribī family of Andalusian origin that settled in Cairo. The attributive "al-Bulaydī"-some sources vocalise it as "al-Balīdī"-probably derives from the town of Blida, near Algiers. As expected, given his background, he adhered to the Mālikī school of law and the Ashʿarī school of theology. He studied with numerous scholars in Cairo and went on to teach in turn at al-Azhar
