This book presents the only basic text that introduces the reader to pediatric imaging, plain film, ultrasound, CT and MRI. It takes the reader on a step by step approach and guides him in how to evaluate a pediatric imaging study. It covers which study to order for common problems in each organ system. It gives a quiz in a form of unknowns after each chapter. It is essential for pediatric housestaff, entering radiology residents, nurse practitioners who deal with children, ER physicians who have to interpret X-rays, pediatricians in practice and physicians who deal with children. We could not keep up with the demand from pediatric radiology departments who want to orient incoming staff and physicians to the nuances of pediatric imaging.
