Description :

کتابخانه مرکزی، مرکز اسناد و موزه در سال 1339 هم زمان با تاسیس دانشگاه فعالیت خود را آغاز نمود. در سال 1349 به ساختمان فعلی منتقل گردید. این واحد از دو مرکز مجزای کتابخانه و مرکز اسناد و موزه تشکیل شده است.

مجموعه کتابخانه مرکزی از کتاب‌ها و نشریات (فارسی ،عربی و انگلیسی)، پایان‌نامه‌ها و گزارش‌ها، بانک‌های اطلاعاتی، تشکیل شده است.

کتابخانه مرکزی دانشگاه دارای کتابخانه اقماری در دانشکده‌ها و پژوهشکده‌های گوناگون است که به صورت متمرکز اداره می‌شوند، فهرست‌نویسی و آماده‌سازی منابع در هر یک از کتابخانه‌ها انجام می‌شود و کتابخانه‌ها به صورت تخصصی به ارائه خدمات می‌پردازند.

دانشجویان می‌توانند علاوه بر کتابخانه دانشکده خود در کتابخانه مرکزی نیز عضو باشند.
