In recent decades, the rapid growth of industrial activities, land use change and environmental degradation, and consequently the increase in greenhouse gases has led to an increase in global temperature, which has led to various issues such as climate change, melting polar ice and most importantly It has significantly increased evapotranspiration. Over the years, many researchers and scientists have researched and studied evaporation and have been able to obtain various formulas and methods for calculating evaporation, including calculations using on-site measurement methods such as evaporation pans or using physical relations and There are experimental methods such as mass transfer method or energy balance and Penman method or 60 other formulas for experimental relationships. But these relationships have drawbacks such as errors, inaccurate formulas for all climates, and time-consuming calculations. With the passage of time and the advancement of scientists, inspired by the brain and neural neurons, the neural network was defined, which can be said to be used in most engineering disciplines, one of which is hydrology. The neural network falls into the category of black boxes in the category of hydraulic models. ANNs as a black box tool are popular models and are widely used in issues. FFNN as an ANN model has been widely used in various fields of environmental engineering as a time forecasting technique. On the other hand, scientists and researchers combined the emotion factor with the ANN model to define the EANN model. This model is an ordinary improved version of ANN. In this study, FFNN and EANN models were modeled and calculated on data from 10 stations in 4 countries. Initially, there were 11 parameters for each station. Using the Common Information Function (MI) method, 5 effective parameters were selected for each station and the data set was divided into two parts, 75% data for training and 25% for accuracy. Modulation of models was considered. In order to evaluate the point prediction of ANN and EANN models, the square error criterion of RMSE and DC squares was used. Prediction intervals as well as bootstrap method were used to evaluate the uncertainty. PIs were constructed using the Lower Upper Limit (LUBE) estimation method, which was estimated as the upper and lower bounds by the EANN and FFNN models, which have two outputs. In addition, the classical bootstrap method was used to evaluate the uncertainty of the models. Comparison criteria for these methods were PICP, NMPIW and a combination of these two CWC criteria. The results obtained in point prediction showed that the lowest DC values among the stations were 0.73, which provides a good performance of the modeling. Since evaporation is stable in nature, both models led to acceptable results. Examination of the results showed that FFNN and EANN show different performance in different regions with different climates. The results showed that EANN could lead to more accurate results for modeling in semi-arid stations. This may be due to hormonal (emotional) parameters that control the emotional state (e.g., peak states) of the model with dynamic weight. In addition, it can be concluded that the performance of the models was the same in stations with similar climatic conditions. Also, the prediction intervals developed by the EANN model through the LUBE technique show that it performs better than the FFNN model. The CWC criterion at most stations indicated that EANN performed better than FFNN. To evaluate the reliability of the methods, the results obtained through the LUBE method were also compared with the PIs obtained through the bootstrap method. In this method, FFNN model data were trained 80 times. A comparison between the results obtained by the LUBE and bootstrap techniques showed that the CWC values of the PIs obtained through the LUBE method were more reliable and resulted in a CWC reduction of up to 90% compared to the FFNN model. The reason for more uncertainty about the bootstrap method may be related to the random selection of samples in the training process of this method. The LUBE method also takes less time to process. As a result, the LUBE method has a significant advantage in terms of qualitative and quantitative modeling
