23 c (25 times) was occurred and in the samples including MgO, the highest conservation Young modulus after 25 thermal shock cycle was accorded at 1 MgO. -700 m) as starting material has more benefit effects on mechanical properties like Youngs modulus and compressive strength stability and conclude thermal shock resistance of this composite. Additionally thermal shock resistance of material varied as increasing-destructive test methods were used to predict thermal stability of this refractory. The results show that sintering at 1375 c with 1 hour soaking time in this temperature and using larger size andalusite (350-shock damage and application of nondestructive methods (image analysis and UPVT) showed their advantages in monitoring sample behavior during thermal stability testing. So in this investigation, Ultrasonic pulse velocity testing and image analysis as non- mullite composite have been investigated. In subsequent years, measurement of fracture strength and Youngs modulus of components after thermal shock have become popular characterization methods of thermal-1400 c) were used in the production of cordierite mullite composites. Additionally effect of andalusite grain size and the effect of SiC and MgO as additives on the thermal shock behavior of cordierite- mullite composites have attracted much attention as refractory materials due to their excellent thermal shock resistance property. In this study, effect of process on thermal stability of cordierite mullite composite that used as kiln furniture in porcelain industry was studied. For this reason different sintering temperatures (1300 -Thermal shock resistance of refractory materials is one of the most important parameters in refractory material characterization since it determines their performance in many applications. The practical and economic effects of thermal shock damage on refractories are reflected in the ever increasing number of research efforts devoted toward improving the thermal shock resistance of refractory materials. cordierite~decreasing with the increase of SiC content, there is a same behavior when the additive was MgO. It seems that when the content of SiC was as high as 5 , the highest conservation Young modulus after 950 c
