SUMMARY OR ABSTRACT
Text of Note

A complete study of the static characteristics of the reservoir is very important for development purposes and to reduce the risk and uncertainty in selecting possible drilling sites. In this regard, the developed elastic impedance (EEI) method is one of the advanced techniques that can be useful in solving the challenges related to the interpretation of subsurface structures. More accurate estimation not only directly contributes to the increase in production, but also leads to more reliable financial and time decisions. The main purpose of this project is to use EEI to estimate reservoir properties and increase lithological and fluid differentiation. The EEI method is the application of acoustic impedance under different radiation angles to identify elastic properties (e.g., bulk modulus and Poisson's ratio) and reservoir properties (e.g., porosity and water saturation). Angle prediction of seismic sections can be designed to provide the maximum distinction between fluids and lithology. For this purpose, a low frequency model was constructed and wavelet extraction was performed at the corresponding angles to obtain the EEI cube by inversion. The results obtained from EEI have resulted in the production of various elastic and petrophysical cubes that in many cases are in good agreement with the well data in the study area.
