SUMMARY OR ABSTRACT
Text of Note
Showing search results on the internet, is the most fundamental task most of the websites do, including Google, YouTube, Facebook, Yahoo, Bing, Twitter, etc. There is a common pattern of how these websites show the results. It's basically a grid view layout with search results embedded into grid sections with scrolling features. Since the inception of the internet, this kind of user interface hasn't changed. Fractal is a geometric recursive figure, which can be used to generate a user interface, in which multiple information or search results can be layered and shown on one page. With such a fractal-based user interface, the user would no longer need to scroll as all the information just fits under fractals. This research includes the development of a recursive algorithm to achieve suggested fractal-based user interface for web pages as a new and novel interface structure that will make websites or webpages scroll free interfaces to provide easier access to information.
