The Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura (MUIS, Islamic Religious Council of Singapore) is a statutory board responsible for administering Muslim affairs and representing the interests of Singapore's Muslim community, comprising fourteen percent of the population (2015), the majority of whom are ethnic Malays.
