The purpose of this doctoral project is to observe the impact of oral Bible storying on equipping the study's participants for the work of evangelism. The study addresses the problem of limited engagement of functionally illiterate Wolof-speaking Christian women in northern Senegal, in evangelism. The author developed a seven-session training that incorporated numerous oral strategies for learning and discussing Bible stories with the objective of equipping the participants with an understanding of evangelism. Ten participants were recruited. An evangelism assessment tool was created and used, as well as semi-structured interviews and participant observations. The author discovered that the use of orality strategies was effective for equipping both oral preference learners and print learners. Ministry and future research recommendations were offered.
