Abstract: Dog skin diseases are one of the most commom diseases in dogs, and staphylococcus suedintermedius is the most common bacterium isolated from skin lesions in dogs. The global agr system in S.sudintermedius is responsible for controlling and coordinating the production of virulence factors, secreted exotoxins, hemolysins, and regulating numerous colonization and pathogenic factors. The aim of this study is to identify the frequency of different types of secondary gene regulatory system in staphylococcus suedintremedius isolates isolated from dog skin wounds. In the present study, 50 swab samples were collected from skin wounds of dogs referred to Urmia city to check the presence of staphylococcus sudintermedius species.46 samples were positive after bacterial culture and additional tests. And to identify the genotype of S.sudintermedius, nuc gene detection was done with the help of PCR, out of 46 positive samples, 37samples contained nuc gene, and the pattern of agr types was determined to include 59/45% typeI, 0% typeII, 16/21% were typeIII, 24/32% were typeIV.
Determining the variety of accessory gene regulator(agr) among Staphylococcus pseudintermedius isolates from dog with skin lesions
