Today, the use of sandwich panels is common in many marine, space, air, urban, automotive and even in common general structures. One of the main weaknesses of sandwich panels is their low resistance to transverse impacts. Because these materials are weak in terms of thickness and do not have a reinforcing component, and interlayer cracks often occur due to low velocity impact. The most important component of the sandwich structure is its core. The core material should have properties such as low density to reduce the weight of the structure and high vertical Young's modulus to prevent excessive deformation along the thickness and rapid reduction of bending stiffness. Although the transverse force produces normal stresses perpendicular to the core that are typically small, even a small reduction in core thickness can produce a large reduction in flexural stiffness. One of the new cases that have attracted the attention of researchers in recent years is materials with a negative Poisson's ratio, which are known as auxetic materials. These materials, unlike the usual materials with positive Poisson's ratio, undergo an increase in transverse length due to axial tension. These materials have important features such as impact resistance and high energy absorption. The use of these materials in the core of sandwich panels makes the weakness of sandwich panels against impact load to some extent. Many researches and analytical studies have been conducted on the impact response of sandwich panels related to sandwich panels with a positive Poisson's ratio core, and less analytical studies have been conducted on the impact response of sandwich panels with an auxetic core. In this thesis, the analysis of the dynamic response and the time history of the impact force of the sandwich plate with the auxetic core under low-speed impact has been done using the high-order shear and normal deformation theory. Also, the impact is modeled using an equivalent mass and spring, and the linearized Hertz model is used to obtain the time history of the contact force. The discussed sandwich panel is rectangular with a simple support consisting of three layers. In this way, it consists of two aluminum tops and a honeycomb core layer with an auxetic core with a negative Poisson's ratio. The unique feature of this thesis with other similar materials is the use of a high-order shear theory, which unlike other theories such as Reddy's first-order shear theory or Reddy's high-order theory and other similar theories, the rise in the direction of constant thickness is not considered, and compression in There is a line of thickness and according to the characteristics of sandwich panels, this assumption is closer to reality. In this theory, creep is divided into three parts, including creep due to bending, due to shear, and creep due to deformation along the thickness. The number of unknown general variables in this theory is five, which is six or more in other shear and normal deformation theories. This theory takes into account the hyperbolic distribution of transverse shear strains and satisfies the zero tension boundary condition on plane surfaces without using a shear correction factor. The method under investigation is analytical. The results of this issue have been compared and validated with other similar articles and researches, and the effect of various geometric and material parameters has been investigated in response to this issue.
