Abstract:The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between cognitive emotion regulation strategies and anxiety disorders in children. In this study, 252 children aged 11 to 15 years were selected by random sampling from high schools in Tabriz. To assess the level of anxiety in children from the SCAS questionnaire and to evaluate the cognitive emotion regulation strategies of children from CERQ-KP with 9 subscales of self-blame, blame others, brainwashing, catastrophizing, perspective, positive refocus, refocus on planning, evaluation Positive re-acceptance was used. Data were analyzed using analytical statistical methods of multiple measurement and linear regression. The findings of the present study showed that self-blame and catastrophe were directly and significantly related to anxiety. On the other hand, subscales, positive refocusing and positive reassessment were strongly but indirectly related to anxiety. During multiple linear regression studies, self-blame, catastrophe, and acceptance were able to significantly estimate anxiety.
