دکارت بهصحق از طلایهصداران عصر جدید بهصشمار میصرود، زیرا فلسف او جریان فلسف غرب را دگرگون کرد .ما در این پایانصنامه برآنیم که نگاهی هرچه تفصیلیصتر و بنیادیصتر به این دگرگونی داشته باشیم .این مهم را تحت عنوان صگذار از مفهوم نفس به مفهوم ذهن در فلسف دکارت و پیصآمدهای آنکه مدخل و منظری نو در حوز مطالعات مربوط به فلسف دکارت در زبان فارسی میصباشد، خلاصه کرده و پی میصگیریم .بنا به ضرورت ذاتی تفکر، این گذار را با نگاهی تفصیلیصتر به پیشینه و بستر تفکر دکارت نشان خواهیم داد، یعنی با نگاهی به معنای نفس در فلسفهصهای پیش از دکارت، و مسائل و بحرانصهایی که در زمان شکلصگیری اندیش دکارت گریبانصگیر علم و دین و فلسفه بودهصاست .در واقع فلسف دکارت و در رأس آن، این گذار را ــ که میصتوان آن را اصالت ذهن دکارتی نیز نامید ــ پاسخی میصدانیم به پیشینه و بستر اندیش وی، که طبیعتا پیصآمدهایی را، هم در زمان دکارت و هم در عصر حاضر، بهصدنبال داشتهصاست .در پایان، چندی از این پیصآمدها را تحت عنوان تغییری در معنای انسان و جهان و خدا تبیین خواهیمصکرد
mentioned contexts and backgrounds which naturally have had outstanding consequences in Descartes' as well as in our times. With some of these consequences such as transformation of the meaning of human being of world and of God we deal with in the last chapter of present thesis - is a response to the above- that can be called Cartesian subjectivism -Descartes was indeed included among the great forerunners of the modern era, because the mainstream of the western philosophy has been transformed by his philosophy. By this thesis we deal with this transformation under the title of 'Transition from the concept of Soul to that of Mind in Descartes' philosophy and its consequences'. Needless to say that for doing this duty, it is necessary to proceed by a detailed survey on some philosophical backgrounds and contexts upon which the Cartesian thought has been based, some of which are as follows: 1.development of soul's meaning during the history of philosophy from ancient times to modern period; 2. history of Scepticism from the beginning to modern era; 3.textbooks which Descartes' main concerns have been formed directly or indirectly through them.
