نیستییکی از اصلیترین مفاهیم تفکر بودیستی، و همچنین گروهی از متفکران ژاپنی به نام مکتب کیوت است .متفکران مکتب کیوتو با الهام از مفاهیم بودایی و فلسفهی غرب فلسفهی خاص خود را ایجاد نمودند .این متفکران ژاپنی تلاش کردند تا مفاهیم عرفانی بودیستی را به صورتی فلسفی و عقلانی مورد مطالعه قرار دهند .مفهوم صنیستی در تفکر ژاپنی و شرقی دارای همان ارزش و جایگاهی است که مفهوم صهستی در غرب داراست .اندیشمندان ژاپنی در مطالعات خود دربارهی صنیستی به آن دسته از فلاسفهی غربی که در کتابهایشان دربارهی صنیستی سخن گفتهاند اهمیت بیشتری دادهاند .نیشیدا کیتارو، هاجیمه تانابه و نیشیتانی کیجی سه فیلسوف اصلی و بیشتر شناخته شدهی مکتب کیوتو هستند .در این پایاننامه سعی شده تا به بررسی مفهوم صنیستی در فلسفه مکتب کیوتو) در فلسفهی نیشیدا، تانابه و نیشیتانی (و فلسفههای غربی که بیشترین تاثیر را بر فیلسوفان مکتب کیوتو در این بحث داشتهاند) به ویژه فلسفه اکهارت، نیچه و هایدگر (بپردازیم، و به مطالعهی این مفهوم به شیوهی تطبیقی در میان این دو سنت همت گماریم
Nothingness" is one of the main concepts in the Buddhist thought and also among a group of Japanese thinkers called "Kyoto School". Kyoto School thinkers set up their own specific philosophy with inspirations from Buddhism concepts and western philosophy. These Japanese thinkers tried to study Buddhist mystical concepts in a philosophical and more logical way. The concept of "Nothingness" in Japanese and eastern thought could be valued in the same place as the western thought of "being" does. Therefore in their studies, Japanese thinkers pay more attention to those western philosophers which have discussed about "Nothingness" in their books. Nishida Kitaro, Hajime Tanabe and Nishitani Keiji are the three main and well known philosophers of the Kyoto School. In this thesis it been tried to review the meaning of "Nothingness" in the Kyoto School philosophy (in the philosophy of Nishida,Tanabe and Nishitani) and western philosophy which had the most powerful influence on the Kyoto School philosopher in this discussion (specially the philosophy of Eckhart, Nietzsche and Heidegger) and study this concept in a comparative way between these two traditions"
