Increasing use of new materials in the production of modern mechanical components makes it possible to improve the performance of joints between materials. Adhesive joints are considered as a type of joints that have found a special place in the field of aerospace, automotive and other industries. Today, the use of adhesives is growing due to its ease of use. In this study, the mechanical behavior of thick single-layer adhesive joints under the effect of tensile and shear loads separately and considering the effects of various additives to the adhesive, including carbon monolayer carbon nanotubes and especially natural microparticles, at different weight percentages and temperatures Various were investigated. In order to evaluate the tensile properties, simple tensile tests were used on bulk specimens made of pure adhesive and micro-composite adhesive-microparticles. Also, to extract the shear properties, thick adhesive bonding samples were used for this purpose. Following the steps of this dissertation and in order to identify the creep properties of pure adhesive and reinforced with natural cork particles, the creep tests of thick adhesive joints were used to provide shear load on the adhesive piece. The creep data obtained were modeled by the Norton-Bailey power model. The results show that the microparticles used at the rate of 1 by weight at all temperatures used, significantly improve the creep behavior of thick adhesive joints compared to thick pure adhesive joints. Also, research was conducted in the field of various creep test devices and in line with the research, a creep test device was designed and manufactured in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Sahand University of Technology in Tabriz.
