This dissertation sought to create a trauma-informed training program for entry-level professionals working with unaccompanied minors. There is a stated need in the literature for increased training and sensitivity towards unaccompanied minor's psychological functioning and particularly on their traumatic histories. A psychologically grounded, trauma-informed training program was developed for entry-level professionals with non-clinical backgrounds working with unaccompanied minors based off of interviews with five child advocates. This program was then evaluated via a questionnaire from the same five child advocates.
