Gregory Thaumaturgus (b. c.210, d. 268 C.E.), was a Father of the Church. He was born, as Theodorus, into a noble, heathen family in Neo-Caesarea (now Niksar, on the Kelkit River, in northeastern Anatolia). At the age of fourteen he became acquainted with Christianity.
