The subject material in this book was presented in the form of lectures during an ASI meeting, held in Kemer, Turkey, in June 1992, and sponsored by NATO. The book therefore collects the contemporary thoughts of leading authorities in the interrelated fields of adhesion, surface diagnosis and surface modification, as these apply to the formulation and performance of polymer composites. Also included in the book are short contributions from a number of attendees. These broaden the scope of the book and underline the practical importance of the subjects covered by the formal lectures. The book is valuable to scientists and engineers in industry and in academe.
