The data were gathered through recording of the news reports and then their texts were written. Fifteen recordings of world news reports were analyzed in each channel. A mixed method design was used in this study. The grammatical features in both texts of the news were analyzed and occurrences and percentage of each feature was calculated. Moreover, these findings were compared with each other. The results showed that there were similarities in the world news reports of both countries in terms of grammatical features. These findings showed that English world news reports in Jaam-e-Discourse markers or cohesive ties are the important part of any discourse.
