.lange zone, a vast complex of ultramafic bodies, along with pillow-lavas and plagic limestones is found, which is completely covered by Qom Formation, discordantly. In addition to this vast ultramafic complex, there are also pillow-lavas and metabasite rocks which are metamorphosed in green-schist to upper-amphibolite facies. Several intrusive bodies of different ages intruded this metamorphic complex and produced alteration and mineralization in the area.By taking into account the conjunction of several zones, structural and geologic complexities and the variety of rock units in the Urban area, a stream sediment-based geochemical investigation was conducted in a 1:50000 scale considering Au, Ti, W, Mo, Ni, Zn, Pb, Cr, Ag and Cu elements, for which 100 samples were collected and analyzed by Fire assay method for gold and ICP-MS method for the rest of the elements. Data were processed by SPSS, Surfer and GIS softwares, and the existing anomalies and their relation with lithologic units were investigated. In this regard, these anomalies are mainly located around the meta-rhyolitic bodies of Precambrian-Paleozoic, dioritic-gabbroic bodies of Cretaceous and pillow-lavas of Paleocene. These rocks are mainly affected by Cimmerian-Laramide magmatism, as well as intense hydrothermal activity and there are many ore-bearing silicic veins within them. These silicic veins can be attributed to the later phases of Qoushchi granite (Cimmerian-Laramide age) and meta-rhyolitic rocks in the southwest of the area, and to the dioritic-gabbroic and meta-rhyolitic bodies in the northwest

This study aims to explore anomalies of Au, Ti, W, Mo, Ni, Zn, Pb, Ag, Cr and Cu and their type of mineralization, to investigate the correlations existing between these elements, as well as to identify the relation between anomalies and the lithology and tectonics of the area and discover the prospecting areas
