Cyclodextrins (CDs), also using the name cycloamyloses, cyclomaltoses, or Schardinger dextrins, are natural macrocycles connected through ?-(1-4)-linked glucose units in a rigid 4C1 chair conformation. The most common CDs contain 6, 7, and 8 D-glucose units and are known as ?CD, ?CD, and ?CD, respectively. One of the most important properties of CDs is the inclusion of guest molecules into their cavities. Dendrimers that incorporate carbohydrates into their structures are named "glycodendrimers". Since the cyclodextrins is comprised of glycosides, thus we can classify CDs-dendrimer as typical glycodendrimers. CDs-dendrimer can be divided into three main categories: (1) dendrimers with cyclodextrin constituting the branches (cyclodextrin- based dendrimer) (2) dendrimers containing a cyclodextrin unit as the central core where all branches are attached (cyclodextrin- centered dendrimer) (3) dendrimer conjugate with cyclodextrin (cyclodextrin- dendrimer conjugate). The simply preparation of novel nanostructure dendrimer based on cyclodextrins as core with having the same cyclodextrin molecules as branching in first generation is reported here. In preparation of the desired dendrimers the hosts residues were linked through ethylenediamine (EDA) and hexanediamine (HDA) bridges. Meanwhile, glycodendrimers were synthesized through two procedures. In first method the reaction carried out between branching unit, mono-6-deoxy-HDA-?-CD andper-6-deoxy-iodo-?-CD as core in DMSO at 80 C. In second method the reaction was performed between mono-6-deoxy-tosyl-? and ?-CD and per-6-deoxy-EDA and HDA-?-CD in DMSO at 80 C. This CDs-dendrimer was purification withdialysis tube. The structure determinations of obtained glycodendrimers were elucidated using common spectroscopic methods and all of the collected data were in accordance with the proposed structures. These glycodendrimers as completely environmentally friendly compounds have potential to use in different fields such as pharmaceutical, food science, cosmetics, packaging removing metal impurities from water, and so on.Then was investigated application of CDs-dendrimer in drug delivery. In second section, a copolymer of styrene and cyclodextrinmethyl styrene with molar ratio 3:1 was synthesized, through reaction between Poly (styrene-co-(chloromethyl) styrene) with ?-CD as naturally occurring nanocapsule in DMF as solvent. The resulted modified copolymers changed to be water soluble and was able to solubilize hydrophobic guest molecules such as cholesterol and also could capture some heavily metals through their nanocavities. In practice, to the solution of water containing hazardous heavily metal, the obtained Poly (styrene-co-(cyclodextrinmethyl) styrene), was added then with addition acetone or methanol the complex was precipitated and purified. The loading amount of captured metals through copolymer was evaluated using UV-vis spectroscopy
