Magnetic nanoparticles are a group of nanostructures that have been realized mainly due to advanced applications of technology and medicine. The use of lanthanides in nuclear medicine is well known because they can be used to diagnose and treat cancerous tumors. In this study, Fe/Sm nanocomposites were synthesized, which is the first time that samarium has been doped with iron. When a nanoparticle enters a physiological environment, its surface is covered with a layer of protein to form the corona protein. Corona protein changes the size, aggregation state, and surface properties of nanomaterials and gives it a biological identity that is distinct from its synthetic identity. Adsorption of protein to the surface of the nanoparticles may lead to toxicity. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the interaction of Fe/Sm nanocomposite with corona protein which is important in medicine. In this study, Fe/Sm nanocomposites were prepared by green chemistry using Rosmarinus Officinalis leaf extract. Fe/Sm nanocomposites were also chemically synthesized for comparison with green synthesis. The physical and chemical properties of both nanocomposites synthesized by UV-VIS, XRD, FT-IR, EDX, DLS and SEM were investigated, as well as protein interaction with nanoparticles by cytotoxicity (MTT), gel electrophoresis, atomic absorption (AAS) and fluorescence spectroscopy were evaluated
