Safarood basin is one of the important river basin in north slope of Alborz on the west side the Mazandaran province that from point of geographieal grid was settled between long : 50 37' 39" to 50 26' 6" .E. and lat : 36 43' 50" to 36 55' 8" .N. with area about 137.44 km. Our purpose in this research is recognition about geomorphologic and hydrologic problems in safarood basin that up to now this region didnot studie exactly. his research organized in 4 section and several chapter as following : * First section of thesis consist purposes,methods, hypothesis. * The second section consist of 3 chapter , which in the first chapter locality geographical position of basin are introducted,the second chapter including the analysis of topography of safarood basin also third chapter try to study the basin hydrology and its problems * The third section were indaded analysis of geology and lithology of basin. * The four section of research also organized in four chapter as following : First chapter discusses about physical and chemical of out whethering croped rocks and its kinds at the basin. he slope erosion has studied in second chapter. Third chapter has introduced the causes of produce landslide and kind of morphology and phenomena of preglacier erosion system.* The fluvial geomorphology included deposition was studied in chapter four. At last , in the end of this research we are presented several recommendation for application from basin and to pervent of land slide.
