#This study was based on a survey conducted among Iranian students in six different universities in the American states of Florida and Texas. The objective was to learn the sources of antagnism among Iranian students. This was accomplished by measuring the students ideology, some of their attitudes and values, and the association between attitudes and behavior application. The data shows that the leftists are more optimistic about the future, are less religious have more modern values and have miregalitarian personalities. On the other hand the righists are more pessimistic about the future, have stronged religious beliefs have more traditional values and have more authoritarian personalities. Students public and private in term of the materialist/non materialist dimensions have also been measured. Respondents students toward change as well as their attitudes toward protest, repression and unconventinal participation were determined.
