Ibrāhīm Bey Abū Shanab (d. 1130/1718) was an influential sancak (sanjaq) bey in Ottoman Egypt during the late eleventh/seventeenth and early twelfth/eighteenth centuries. A Bosnian, he presumably belonged to the Bosnian Muslim population who volunteered to serve in the devşirme , the Ottoman institution based on the practice of recruiting members of the population of the Balkans and Anatolia for service in the military and the palace; ordinarily, the devşirme targeted Christian subjects.
