Almizan Exegesis of Quran is a unigue Collection of non - jurisprudential hadith concerning Quranic Verses in which Allameh Tabatabayee has analysed hadith, indicating its defects along with considering its complexity and profoundness. In his evaluation of hadith, more than anything, he depends on text analysis instead of relyting on the authen ticity of the chain of transmitters. The validity of the latter has only been a complementary proof for his judgment. In his analysis of the text, Allameh has applied the following topics as the main text criteria: Quran. hadith, sound reasoning, historical facts, scientific findings and the reality of life. Nevertheless, we cannot summarize his approach only in these words. categorizing hadith according to its subject shows that Allameh, in each field, has practiced a spesific methodology. Non-jurisprudential hadith canbe classified in numerous classes. In this study I have examined Allamehs methodology concering four of them: The hadith on the occasion of revelation, those about fundamental beliefs, the ones about preceding prophets and their society and those Which in a Way interpret Verses of Quran in regard to the Prophets Progeny. This study shows that the hadith section of Almizan is a great encyclopedia including a Vast category of non-jurisprudential hadith, With a great concern shown to mention the numerous sources of a hadith, especially from both shia and sunni collections. It is also a unigue commentary on hadith, interpreting its complex meanings and indicating the fabricated ones through previously mentioned text criteria.
