مقدمه :فنیل کتونوری شایعترین اختلال در متابولیسم اسیدهای آمینه می باشد که فراوانی آن درجمعیت ایرانی یک نفر در هر 3627 تولد تخمین زده شده است .از آنجا که نوزادان مبتلا بلافاصله بعد از تولد هیچ گونه علامت بالینی نشان نمی دهند، اولین گام در درمان بیماری، غربالگری وتشخیص بموقع می باشد.این مطالعه با هدف تعیین سطح مهارت‌های تکامل فردی - اجتماعی کودکان 1 تا 4 ساله مبتلا به فنیل‌کتونوری تحت رژیم درمانی از بدو تولد انجام شده است .روش بررسی :این مطالعه به روش مقطعی تحلیلی) مورد-شاهدی (بر روی 40 کودک 1 تا 4 ساله بر اساس لیست بیماران کلینیک ارجاع فنیل‌کتونوری که توسط غربالگری از بدو تولد تشخیص داده شده و از بدو تولد تحت درمان بودند، انجام شد .ابزار گردآوری اطلاعات پرسشنامه دموگرافیک، پرسشنامه ASQ و ارزیابی بالینی توسط متخصص کودکان بود 40 .کودک نیز به عنوان گروه کنترل از مهد کودک‌های تهران به طور تصادفی انتخاب شدند و پرسشنامه های فوق برای آن‌ها تکمیل شد .تحلیل داده‌ها با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SPSS نسخه 19 انجام شد .یافته‌ها :متوسط سن کودکان)5/10) 7/30ماه در گروه کنترل و) 0/11) 7/27ماه در گروه مورد بود .بین دو گروه از نظر نحوه زایمان، دور سر، قد و وزن فعلی و بدو تولد رابطه معناداری وجود نداشت .بین دو گروه از نظر تکامل مهارت‌های فردی اجتماعی اختلاف معناداری وجود داشت .(p<0.001) نتیجه گیری : نتایج این پژوهش نشان داد که سطح تکامل فردی- اجتماعی در کودکان درمان شده با رژیم درمانی از بدو تولد کمتر از کودکان عادی است لذا تشخیص و مداخله زودرس جهت کلیه کودکان درمان شده با رژیم درمانی از بدو تولد و در سنین پایین توصیه می‌شود .

prevalence in Iran is estimated one in 3,627 births. As neonates with PKU do not show any clinical signs in the neonatal period, the first stage in treatment is screening and early diagnosis. This Study aimed to investigate the level of personal-social developmental skills in children 1-4 years old with early treated Phenylketonuria. Materials & Methods: This cross-sectional (case-control) study has been done on 40 children 1-4 years old referred to clinics of phenylketonuria (PKU) who were diagnosed by screening at birth and were treated. The measurements were a demographic questionnaire, ASQ (Ages & Stages Questionnaire) and clinical assessment by pediatrician. Forty children were also selected randomly as control group from kindergartens of Tehran and completed the questionnaires. Data were analyzed by SPSS 19.0 software. Results: The mean age of the children were 30/7 ( 10/5) months in the control group and 27/7 ( 11/0) months in the case group. There was no significant differences between two groups regarding of delivery type and the current and birth, height and weight and head circumference. There was a significant difference between two groups regarding personal-social developmental skills (P <0.001). Conclusion: The level of personal-social developmental skills in the children with early treated Phenylketonuria is lower than normal children. Early diagnosis and intervention for all children with early treated Phenylketonuria is recommended.
