test and cloze test for learners with particular proficiency level -test differ according to the proficiency level of EFL learners. They also showed that using each of mentioned tests as a reading comprehension tests in a special proficiency level can have special effect. They also have some pedagogical implications like employing C- way ANOVAs with post hoc, Tukey's HSD were used to analyze the obtained data. The findings demonstrated that the effectiveness of cloze test and C-tests developed for the purpose of this study. The difficulty levels of the selected texts were calculated by Flesch Readability Formula and they were in accordance with the proficiency level of the subjects. One-choice cloze tests and the second three tests were C-experimental (one shot study). The subjects of this study were 81 female EFL learners in three proficiency levels i.e. advanced level (n=27), high intermediate (n= 26) and intermediate (n=28). The instruments used in this study were 6 tests. The first three ones were standard multiple-test Vs. Cloze test comparatively and also their suitability for learners with three proficiency levels: intermediate, high intermediate and advanced as measures of reading comprehension. What have done up to now mostly was on the reliability and validity of these test and also using them as general language proficiency tests. The present study employed a quasi-One of the necessities of the L2 teachers is having access to valid and reliable measures for testing the second language proficiency and its different skills for EFL learners. Parallel to the emergence of new theories and approaches in second language teaching and learning realm, the contingent methods are introduced in the realm of testing. Then their different aspects such as the reliability, validity and effectiveness of those tests have been put to the test. Along with it, the present project aims to study the effectiveness of C.
