.This research is going to investigate the effect of government health expenditure, as a criterion of health, on Irans economical growth. For this purpose the Aggregate Augmented Production Function (APF) model was used, on the basis of growth accounting aspect. This model is based on the aspect of estimating the production function in growth accounting methodology. For estimating the model, the autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) method has been used for the period of 1351 to 1381. The results of the research show that government health expenditures in the long run has a positive and significant effect on Irans economic growth. Also the existance of cointegration relation between government health expenditure and economic growth and other variables of the model has been verified. Other results show that the governments current health expenditures have positive and significant effects on Irans economic growth but governments capital health expenditures didnt have a positive and significant effect on Irans economic growth. An investigation on robustness of the model results, verifies the positive effect of government health expenditure on Irans economic growth. The stability test inquiry on the estimated models shows that the estimated coefficients are stable in the long run
