.‮‭The background of the studies on the administrative history of Iran is neither very old nor very comprehensive from the quantitative view as compared with other researches or historical studies. From this perspective, the share of Kharazmshahiyan government is significant both in terms of studies and researches on the political aspects and their administrative organization. Kharazmshahiyan administration governed a part of Iran during ۴۸۵-۶۲۸ A.H. and also ruled a vast area of Iran for some time. They were the formal successors of Saljoghiyan Dynasty in Iran and the Ghoori governors as well. Yet, in the collection of Iran's historical studies, their share is negligible.In fact, despite certain studies on the political history of Kharazmshahiyan, there is no comprehensive studies on the administrative organization of that government. In other words, the outcome of the studies and researches conducted is just a few pages.The general object of the present research is to answer this question: Were Kharazmshahiyan administrative organization more systematic and coherent than the former governments? In this case, it is necessary to get familiar with and evaluate such an organization.Based on this general objective, and the hypotheses set forth in the dissertation, the present research has been organized. In this study, emphasis will be placed on the original sources and texts pertaining to Kharazmshahiyan dynasty, the preceding and succeeding dynasties. The administrative organization of Kharazmshahiyan Empire is divided into the court and the states administrative organization. These will be studied and scrutinized.This study also attends to identify the high-ranking officers of the period. The place of Kharazmshahi Sultan and his relation with his office holders, his family, the peasants of the empire and Abbasi administration are among the cases that will be studied in the dissertation.The significance of this study will be appreciated when we notice that no specific research on the administrative organization of Kharazmshahiyan has been conducted yet. Hopefully, this study will be an introduction to further studies, researches and recognition of Kharazmshahiyan administrative organization‬
