Ḥiṣn al-Akrād ("Fortress of the Kurds"), also known in Arabic as Qalʿat al-Ḥuṣn (or al-Ḥiṣn, the modern Arabic name meaning literally "Castle of the Fortress") and Ḥiṣn al-Firās (or al-Fursān, "Fortress of the Knights"), is a castle located in Syria that was principally constructed during the Crusader period (488-690/1095-1291) with numerous additions made during the Mamlūk sultanate (648-953/1250-1517).
