ʿAzīz al-Dīn al-Nasafī (ʿAzīz Nasafī, in Persian) was the author of at least eight works in Persian, Ṣūfī and mystical in content, that were written in the second half of the seventh/thirteenth century. Little is known of ʿAzīz Nasafī's own life, and the scant information at hand is gleaned from his own writings. He was a student of Ṣaʿd al-Dīn Ḥammūya (d. 650/1252), who was an affiliate of the Kubrawiyya Ṣūfī order, founded in Khwārazm by Najm al-Dīn Kubrā (d. 618/1221). ʿAzīz
