Abū ʿAbdallāh Muḥammad b. Ibrāhīm b. ʿAlī b. Aḥmad b. Yūsuf al-Mursī al-Andalusī al-Tūnisī al-Awsī, known as Ibn al-Raqqām (d. 21 Ṣafar 715/26 May 1315) was, according to Ibn al-Khaṭīb (d. 776/1374-5), a versatile master (shaykh) , unique in his time for his skills in arithmetic, geometry, medicine, astronomy, and other disciplines.
