"This volume reviews the wide-ranging issues arising out of the post-conflict economies in Africa. What factors contribute towards increasing risk of conflict? What actions can be taken to promote transformation from conflict to post-conflict states? How can such a state be maintained in terms of avoiding the resurgence of conflict? Case studies, drawing on experiences from all parts of Africa, illuminate and complement the thematic overview.
