متن يادداشت
Magarinos (Director-General, United Nations Industrial Development Organization), Yongtu (Chief Trade Negotiator for China), and Sercovich (Senior Policy Adviser to UNIDO's Director-General) present nine papers from a forum held in December of 2000 for the purpose of identifying the domestic and external impacts of Chinese accession into the WTO. The chief concern of the forum is the potential impact of China's entry on the competitive standing of other emerging Asian economies and other developing countries, but other topics are also addressed, including the lessons of negotiating entry (as seen by Yongtu) and the likely impact on intellectual property rights Annotation (c)2003 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com).
