This book is the only one on the subject. It deals with the problem of bladder and rectal fistulae into the genital tract due to obstetric causes. The matter is covered in great detail, historically and clinically, concluding with details of surgical correction accompanied by a unique series of colour photographs and line drawings. The principles involved in the closure of obstetric fistula are identical to those employed in the surgery of fistulae which may follow gynecological surgery.
