مقدمه :ترس از سقوط یکی از عوارض سقوط در سالمندان محسوب می شود که خود عوارض متعددی را از جمله محدودیت فعالیت ها را به دنبال دارد .این مطالعه با هدف تعیین رابطه ترس از سقوط با محدودیتهای حرکتی ایجاد شده در میان سالمندان مقیم جامعه در شهر قائمشهر انجام شد .روش مطالعه :این مطالعه یک مطالعه توصیفی تحلیلی که روش جمع آوری نمونه در آن، روش طبقه ای- تصادفی بوده است .ابتدا شهر به پنج قسمت تقسیم بندی شد .براساس آمار موجود در شبکه بهداشت شهرستان میزان تراکم جمعیت هر بخش محاسبه شد .سپس براساس سهم هر بخش میزان نمونه آن بخش تعیین شد .سپس بطور تصادفی از هر بخش یک مرکز انتخاب شد و با مراجعه به آن مرکز پرونده یک سالمند بطور تصادفی انتخاب و براساس آدرس موجود در پرونده به محل سکونت وی مراجعه شد .برای 378 نفر سالمند شرکت کننده در این پژوهش پس از کسب امتیاز 7 و بالاتر در آزمون سلامت شناختی( (AMT ، پرسشنامه های اطلاعات دموگرافیک و SAFFE تکمیل گردید .برای تعیین همگنی افراد از نظر متغییرهای کیفی از آزمون کای اسکوئر و متغییرهای کمی از آزمون من ویتنی و آزمون همبستگی اسپیرمن استفاده شد .یافته ها :براساس یافته های حاصل از این پژوهش میزان ترس از سقوط در زنان بیشتر از مردان بود .( = (001/0pضریب همبستگی اسپیرمن (933/0) رابطه معنا دار بسیار قوی ( ( 001/0 > p را بین دو متغییر ترس از سقوط و محدودیت حرکتی نشان داد .همچنین ضریب همبستگی اسپیرمن(539/0 - ( رابطه معنا داری ( ( 001/0> p را بین محدودیت حرکتی و تغییر در انجام فعالیت نسبت به 5 سال قبل نشان داد .نتیجه گیری :با توجه به همبستگی قوی بین دو متغییر ترس از سقوط و محدودیت حرکتی برای کاهش میزان محدودیت حرکتی در سالمندان جامعه باید از طریق روشهای نظیر شناسایی افراد در معرض خطر سقوط، ایجاد محیط سالم، طراحی برنامه های آموزشی جهت مشارکت بیشتر فرد سالمند در فعالیت های روزانه و ... میزان ترس از سقوط در سالمندان را کم کرد .واژگان کلیدی :سالمند ترس از سقوط - محدودیت حرکتی

Objective: Fear of falling is one of the social injuries in elderly people who have many complications, including restrictions on activities to follow. This study has been proposed to assess the relationship between falling fear among geriatrics living in the Ghaemshahr caused by movement disability. Methods & Materials:. The class method was conducted for sampling. The whole city was divided into five parts (groups). Based on the basic health systems statistical reports, the population density determined. The sampling then was made on each group and an AMT questioner prepared and scored accordingly. In case of the score limit was 7 or more and if all other conditions permit, a demographic questioner (SAFFE) has been conducted. The statistical tests were chi-square distribution, MannWhitney U and Spearman correlation test. Results: The falling fear is more common in women and the most type of fear is bath without seeking help from others (p<0.001). Spearman correlation coefficient (0.933) meaningful relationship shows very strong relationship between fear of falling and mobility limitations. (p<0.001) The Spearman correlation coefficient (-0.539) significant relationship (p<0.001) between the restriction of movement and change in activity compared to 5 years ago showed. Conclusion: In view of thie fact that there was a strong correlation between the move to reduce fear of falling and limit movement restrictions in the elderly population it may be concluded that it is a bigger challenge to identify people at risk of collapse, create a healthy environment and designing training programs for greater participation of elderly people in daily activities and to reduce the fear of falling in the elderly.
