The most of psychiatric patients have problem in activity daily of living skills. In attention to evaluation and instruction of this area is one of important proportion of occupational therapy, it is necessary to survey reliability and validity of reliable instrument in this area. Purpose: the aim of this study was determine of reliability and validity of Milwaukee evaluation of daily living skills. Methodology: this study is methodological. The sample of this research were schizophrenic and bipolar patients at residential care-rehabilitation Hamedan canters. The sampling was on group available to sample. Research method: At the first milwaukee evaluation of daily living on protocol IQOLA translated. Then in attention to result of pilot study, sample size determines 60 patients. The results with use of SPSS analyzed. Result and discussion: The result prove face validity, discriminate validity. intra rater reliability and inter rater reliability of this instrument. This will be necessary to survey match groups on more sample size to generalize result of discriminate validity. Key words: Milwaukee evaluation of daily living skills, reliability, validity
