and VDR genes, and then the feature selection approach was used to detect the interactions between these polymorphisms and measure the significance of each one of them. In order to find significant logic combinations throughout the search environment, simulated annealing search algorithm was used. For the analysis of the data, the R Software, version 2.13.2, was used.Of all the individual effects and interactions specified by the feature selection approach, the individual effect of polymorphism in SAITOHIN, the twoway interaction between the polymorphisms of SAITOHIN and APOE genes, and three-way interaction among the polymorphisms of SAITOHIN and APOE and VDR genes was found significantly influential in occurrence of sporadic Alzheimer.Feature selection approach is recommended for the detection of interactions in genetic association studies with many variables.Keywords: Logic regression, Feature selection, Interactions, Genetic Polymorphisms, Sporadic Alzheimer ع-Genetic polymorphisms interactions are among the important factors in affliction with complex diseases like Alzheimer. In genetic association studies identify a combination of polymorphisms and measure their significance in increasing the risk of occurrence of such diseases is considered. The aims of present study is to use the feature selection approach in order to identify genetic polymorphisms interactions influential in affliction with Alzheimer.Totally, 101 sporadic Alzheimer cases and 109 control subjects, all above 65 years of age, from Iranian population were participating in a cross-sectional study.The evaluation of genes in the two groups was carried out using molecule identification methods; in particular, the PCR-RFLP technique was used to evaluate the intended polymorphisms in APOE, ABCA1, CALHM1, CCR2, GSK3B,SAITOHIN, TAU, TNF
