شکست‍ مدل‌های متمرکز بر بیولوژی در تبیین و پیش‌بینی جامع سلامت و بیماری، به درنظرگرفتن اهمیت بالقو محیط اجتماعی و شبکه‌های اجتماعی منجر شد .هدف پژوهش حاضر، شناخت رابط ویژگی‌های ابعاد شبک‍ اجتماعی با سلامت و تعیین نقش آن‌ها در پیش‌بینی بعد جسمی و روانی سلامت است .روش :این پژوهش از نوع هم‌بستگی بود که بر روی ۲۳۱ بازنشست‍ سالمند عضو کانون‌های بازنشستگی کشوری و آموزش‌وپرورش شهر کرج انجام شد .از روش نمونه‌گیری در دسترس استفاده شد و ابزارهای به‌کاررفته در این پژوهش، چک‌لیست اطلاعات دموگرافیک و پرسش‌نام‍ شبک‍ اجتماعی وsf -۱۲بود .برای تحلیل، از آمارهای توصیفی و آزمون‌های هم‌بستگی اسپیرمن، پیرسون، تی مستقل، یومان ویتنی و رگرسیون چندگانه استفاده شد .یافته‌ها :پژوهش حاضر نشان داد میان ویژگی‌های ابعاد شبکه) انداز شبکه، فراوانی تماس، قوت پیوند صمیمیت، حمایت اجتماعی و خرده‌مقیاس‌هایش (با بعد روانی سلامت رابط معناداری وجود دارد .همچنین، میان انداز شبکه و بعد جسمی سلامت نیز رابط معناداری وجود دارد>(p ۰۱۰( اما میان حمایت اجتماعی به‌عنوان کارکرد شبکه با بعد جسمی سلامت رابط معناداری وجود ندارد .علاوه‌براین، طبق این مطالعه، میان زنان و مردان ازنظر انداز شبکه و حمایت اجتماعی تفاوت معناداری وجود نداشت اما میان انداز شبک‍ متأهلان و مجردان و میان حمایت اجتماعی این دو گروه، تفاوت معناداری وجود داشت>(p ۰۱۰ .(نتایج تحلیل رگرسیون نشان داد ازمیان ویژگی‌های شبکه، ویژگی‌های انداز شبکه و قوت پیوند، قادر به تبیین ۰۸۴۰ پراکنش بعد جسمی سلامت و ویژگی‌های قوت پیوند و حمایت ابزاری، قادر به تبیین ۱۵۶۰ پراکنش بعد روانی سلامت هستند .بحث :وجود این روابط حاکی‌از آن است که سلامت افراد و به‌ویژه سالمندان، تحت‌تأثیر شبک‍ اجتماعی آن‌ها قرار دارد و شبکه‌های اجتماعی ممکن است به‌عنوان بستری برای شناخت و بهبود وضعیت سلامت سالمندان درنظر گرفته شوند .کلیدواژه‌ها :حمایت اجتماعی، سالمندی، سلامت، شبک‍ اجتماعی، ویژگی‌های شبک‍ اجتماعی

So social networks can be viewed as a context for understanding and improving health of elderly.Key words: social network, social network characteristics, social support, health, aging sبhealth, particularly elder sبaim is to identify the relations between characteristics of social network dimensions and health and to discern their proportions in prediction of physical and mental component health summary.Method: the study was correlation one performed on 231 retired elders who were members of center of civic retiree or members of center of retiree of Educational organization of Karaj city. Convenient sampling was used and research instruments included demographic information checklist, social network questionnaire and SF-12. Descriptive Statistics , Pearson and Spearman correlation coefficients, independent t-test ,Mann-Withney U and regressions were used for analysis. Results: the Study showed that statistically significant relationships existed between social network characteristics (size, frequency of contact, intimacy, social support and its sub-scales) and mental component health summary and also there was significant relation between size of network and physical component health summary (p<0.01), but no relation existed between social support andphysical component health. According to this study there were no differences between men and women in regard to their network size and social support , but there were statistically significant differences between network size of married and singles and also between their social support.Regression results showed that among social network characteristics, only network size and intimacy could explain 0.084 variance of physical component health summary , and only intimacy and instrumental support could explain 0.156 variance of mental component health summary.Conclusion: this relations denote that people sبIntroduction: Failure of biological-centered models in explaining and predicting health and disease comprehensively resulted in consideration of potential importance of social environment and social networks.
