مقدمه و هدفبیماری اسکیزوفرنی یکی از ناتوان‌کننده‌ترین بیماری‌های درگیر کننده بشر است و سبب بروز افت در حیطه عملکرد روزانه، شغلی، بین فردی و اجتماعی و نقص در حیطه‌های مختلف عملکرد شناختی فرد می‌شود و ازآنجاکه کمبود مجموعه ویتامین‌های گروه¬ب در بیماری‌های روانی و عصبی نقش مؤثری دارد ،لذا بر آن شدیم تا مطالعه‌ای تحت عنوان (بررسی تأثیر ویتامین‌های گروه ب به‌عنوان درمان تکمیلی در بهبود علائم مثبت، منفی و شناختی در بیماران مبتلابه اسکیزوفرنی مزمن؛ یک کار آزمایی بالینی تصادفی دو سو کور) انجام دهیم.مواد و روش‌ها:50 بیمار که بر طبق کرایتریای DSM-5 تشخیص اسکیزوفرنی داشته و در بخش‌های مزمن بیمارستان رازی بستری بودند، به‌طور رندم به دو گروه A و B تقسیم شدند. به گروه A علاوه بر درمان داروئی آنتی ‌سایکوتیک آتیپیک، روزانه یک قرص حاوی مجموعه ویتامین‌های گروه¬ ب فورت به مدت سه ماه نیز به رژیم‌درمانی آن‌ها اضافه شد و به گروه B علاوه بر درمان داروئی آنتی‌ سایکوتیک آتیپیک، کپسول دارونما داده شد. بیماران به مدت دوازده هفته فالوآپ شدند. علائم روان‌پزشکی بر اساس مقیاس PANSS و علائم شناختی بر اساس معیار Moca هنگام ورود به مطالعه، پایان هفته چهارم، هشتم و دوازدهم ثبت‌شده و در هفته دوازدهم اطلاعات مورد تجزیه‌وتحلیل آماری قرار گرفت.نتایج: بر طبق نتایج کسب‌شده علائم منفی در گروه مداخله در قیاس با گروه کنترل کاهش معناداری داشت (046/0P:).علائم مثبت و شناختی نیز در هر دو گروه مطالعه یک سیر کاهشی داشته که تفاوت آن در دو گروه معنادار نبود (666/0= P) و (501/0P=).نتیجه‌گیری:با توجه به نتایج مطالعه حاضر به نظر می‌رسد، مکمل ویتامین‌های گروه¬ ب بر روی علائم منفی بیماران مبتلابه اسکیزوفرنی مزمن تأثیر داشته و توصیه می‌شود در رژیم‌درمانی آن‌ها استفاده شود. کلمات کلیدی:اسکیزوفرنی، ویتامین‌های گروه ¬ب، علائم منفی:Introduction & Objective Schizophrenia is one of the most debilitating diseases affecting humans and causes a decline in daily, occupational, interpersonal and social functioning and also causes defects in various areas of cognitive function. To conduct a study entitled (Evaluation of the effect of vitamin B complex as adjunctive therapy in improving positive, negative and cognitive symptoms in patients with chronic schizophrenia; a double-blind randomized clinical trial).Materials and methods:Fifty patients, who were diagnosed with schizophrenia according to the DSM-5 criteria and were hospitalized in chronic wards of Razi Hospital, were visited by an internal medicine specialist and a psychiatric assistant. In group A, In addition to atypical antipsychotic medication, Bcomplex tablet (one capsule containing 15 mg / day of B1 vitamins, B2 (15 mg / day), B6 (10 mg / day), B12 (10 mg / day) and nicotine 50 mg / day) once per day were added to their treatment for three months and group B was given a placebo capsule in addition to atypical antipsychotic medication. Patients were followed up for twelve weeks and they were excluded from the study in case of side effects. Psychiatric symptoms were recorded according to PANSS scale and cognitive symptoms according to MMSE criteria at the end of the fourth, eighth and twelfth weeks at the time of enrollment and in the twelfth week the data were statistically analyzed.Results In the present study, the mean age of participants in the intervention group was 55.8 years and in the control group was 50.2 years. The majority of participants in the intervention group (52.0%) and in the control group (56.0%) were women. According to the results, negative symptoms in the intervention group had a significant decrease compared to the control group (P=0.046). Positive and cognitive symptoms also had a decreasing trend in both study groups, but the difference between the two groups was not significant (P=0.666) and (P = 0.501).Conclusion According to the results of the present study, it seems that vitamin B supplements have an effect on the negative symptoms of patients with chronic schizophrenia and it is recommended to be used in their diet. Studies with higher sample sizes and longer follow up are recommended to confirm these results.KeywordsSchizophrenia, B complex Vitamin, Negative Symptoms
