Abstract: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between Iranian EFL teachers’ self-disclosure, institutional identity, and their creativity. In order to address the research questions of this study, a mixed-method correlational design was employed. Survey type approach and interview were used for collecting the required data. To this end, 108 EFL teachers from different private language institutes took part in the study by completing the Teacher Self-Disclosure Questionnaire, the Institutional Identity Questionnaire, and the Abedi Creativity Test. In the second phase of the study, for triangulating the data, 12 of the participants were interviewed. The sampling strategy for the selection of the participants of this study was convenience sampling. To analyze the data, Pearson correlation, linear regression, and qualitative content analyses were run. The obtained results indicated a relationship both between EFL teachers’ institutional identity and their creativity, and EFL teachers’ self-disclosure and their creativity. Moreover, teachers’ institutional identity and self-disclosure were found to be predictive of their creativity. The findings of the study provide implications for teacher educators, curriculum developers, and language institutes.

هدف از این تحقیق بررسی رابطه بین خودافشایی مدرسین زبان انگلیسی ، هویت سازمانی و خلاقیت آنها میباشد. برای این منظور،108 مدرس زبان انگلیسی از مؤسسات مختلف زبان خصوصی با تکمیل پرسشنامه خودافشایی مدرسین زبان انگلیسی ، پرسشنامه هویت سازمانی و آزمون خلاقیت عابدی شرکت کردند. در مرحله دوم تحقیق، برای اطمینان از داده های به دست امده در بخش کمی تحقیق، با 12 شرکت کننده مصاحبه شد. برای پاسخ به سؤالات تحقیق ، ضریب همبستگی پیرسون، رگرسیون خطی و تحلیل محتوای کیفی انجام شد. نتایج به دست آمده ثابت میکند که رابط اماری معناداری بین خودافشایی مدرسین زبان انگلیسی ، هویت سازمانی مدرسین زبان انگلیسی وخلاقیت آنها وجود دارد. علاوه بر این ، مشخص شد که هویت سازمانی و خودافشایی مدرسین زبان انگلیسی پیش بینی کننده خلاقیت آنها است. یافته های این مطالعه می تواند برای مربیان معلمان، توسعه دهندگان برنامه درسی و موسسات زبان مفید واقع شود.
