عقل را باید بزرگترین عطیه الهی و رمز برتری انسان بر دیگر آفریده‌صهای خداوند بدانیم و در واقع وجه امتیاز آدم از بهایم و چهارپایان است .و در زمینه رابطه عقل و دین نیز دیدگاهای متفاوتی از سوی اندیشمندان غربی و مسلمان مطرح شده است واین مطلب مورد توجه است که بین اندیشه‌صهای دینی و عقل رابطه‌صای وجود دارد یا نه؟ . اگر رابطه‌صای هست تا چه قلمروی است و آیا رابطه تعارض است یا تداخل؟اما هدف ما در این رساله این است که افق روشنی از نقش عقل در شناخت دین به دست آوریم، از نظر علامه طباطبایی عقل یک حقیقت وجودی است و چیزی که به انسان امتیاز می‌صدهد همین نفس ناطقه و عقل اندیشمند اوست و با بررسی آثار دینی وی مانند تعریف دین و فطری بودن آن به این نکته می‌صرسیم که آدمیان با وجود بهره‌صمندی از عقل، بی نیاز از دین نیستند بلکه این دو با یکدیگر هماهنگی دارند .در این میان علامه جعفری همانند علامه طباطبایی در این راه کوشش‌صهای فراوانی انجام داده‌صاند و عقل را حجت درونی انسان می‌صداند تا با یاری حجت بیرونی)پیامبران(، به هدف اعلای هدایت رهنمون شوند چون عقل حقانیت دین را اثبات می‌صکند پس نقش اثباتی را در شناخت دین دارند و با بیان کارکردصهای عقل در حوزه عقل نظری و عقل عملی در این رساله به این هدف رهنمون می‌صشویم که عقل مبنای دین است و به دین اعتبار می‌صدهد.

Wisdom is the biggest divine gift and the token of human superiority over other creatures of God discriminating him from animals. Different views on the relationship between wisdom and religion have been proposed by both Western and Muslim scholars and it is important to know whether there is a relationship between religious thought and wisdom, or not. If any, where is the realm of relationship? And what is the type of relationship (conflict or interference type)? This thesis aimed at obtaining an obvious horizon for the role of wisdom in religion recognition. According to Allama Tabatabai, wisdom is a true existence, and what elevates human beings is the rational soul and thoughtful wisdom. By studying his religious publications on the definition of religion and innate being we, conclude that benefiting from wisdom does not obviate needs for religion, rather both of them are correlated. Meanwhile, Allama Jafari also had many efforts in this way and believed that wisdom is the innate reason of human beings leading to supreme guide with the help of external reason (the prophets). In addition, in this thesis, by presenting functions of the wisdom in the field of theoretical and practical wisdom, we come to this objective that wisdom is the base of religion and validates it
