چکیده انسان یک موجود مختار است و هر انسانی می تواند برای خود باورهایی داشته باشد، از این جهت همه انسان¬ها یکسانند، آنچه باعث تفاوت انسانها می شود یکی متعلق باورهاست و دیگری راههای حصول آنها؛ چون باورها می¬تواند محصول اندیشه و تفکر صحیح باشد و می تواند محصول تقلید، عادت و تعصب باشد. از طرف دیگر باور یک مسئله ذهنی و نظری محض نیست بلکه در رفتارو عمل انسان ها تأثیر مستقیم دارد؛ یعنی انسان هر باوری داشته باشد رفتار و عملش متناسب با آن خواهد بود. یکی از مصادیق مهم و تأثیر گذار در زندگی فردی و اجتماعی انسان باور دینی یعنی اعتقاد به یک موجود متعالی و خداست، به همین جهت از دیرزمان همواره مورد توجه دانشمندان بوده و هر کدام متناسب با مبانی فلسفی و اعتقادی خود آن را و اینکه آیا باور دینی توجیه پذیر عقلانی هست یا نه؟ مورد بررسی قرار دادند. از جمله فیلسوفانی که باور دینی و توجیه پذیر بودن آن مورد توجه آنها قرار گرفته دو فیلسوف غربی و اسلامی یعنی دکارت و مطهری است. لذا در این پایان نامه تلاش شده دیدگاه این دو فیلسوف با شیوه توصیفی و تطبیقی مورد بررسی قرار گیرد. دکارت و مطهری هر دو ضمن اصالت دادن به عقل، شیوه‌ای متفاوت برای توجیه پذیری باورهای دینی ارائه دادند، دکارت به دلیل وجود تناقضات عقلی در مسیحیت ،با تفکیک ساحت عقل و ایمان، یقین عقلی و یقین ایمانی را مطرح می¬نما¬ید و این گونه خدا را به عنوان امری یقینی اثبات می‌کند و مطهری با توجه به اهمیت و اصالت دادن اسلام به عقل و همسویی کلیات این دین با عقل بشری، عقلانیت را اساس هر باوری می¬داند و معتقد است که مسائل ایمانی با توجیه پذیری عقل، ناسازگار نیستند و نسبتی دو طرفه میان عقل و ایمان برقرار می¬باشد.

AbstractMan is an autonomous being and every human being can have beliefs for himself, therefore all human beings are equal, what makes human beings different is one of beliefs and the other is the ways to achieve them; Because beliefs can be the product of correct thought and thinking and can be the product of imitation, habit and prejudice. On the other hand, belief is not a purely mental and theoretical issue but has a direct impact on human behavior and action; That is, whatever a person believes, his behavior and actions will be commensurate with it. One of the most important and influential examples in the individual and social life of man is religious belief, that is, belief in a transcendent being and God. Is religion rationally justifiable or not? They have reviewed. Among the philosophers whose religious beliefs and justifications have been considered are two Western and Islamic philosophers, Descartes and Motahhari. Therefore, in this dissertation, an attempt has been made to examine the views of these two philosophers in a descriptive and comparative manner. Both Descartes and Motahhari, while giving originality to reason, offered different ways to justify religious beliefs. Proves as a matter of certainty and Motahhari, considering the importance and originality of Islam to reason and the alignment of the generalities of this religion with human reason, considers rationality as the basis of any belief and believes that matters of faith are not incompatible with the justification of reason and are relative. There is a duality between reason and faith.
