The last few decades have seen the birth of electronics and its continuous Miniaturization and increase in speed and complexity spurred by the increasing demand of its applications. Over the last few years, however, it has become increasingly hard to push the limits on speed and size of electronic devices as we near the physical limits inherent to electronic processing. An alternative approach to signal processing that is being explored over the last decade has been the use of photons. Using light to do the jobs that traditional electronics has been doing so far has certain advantages. The shortest light pulses that can be generated now are in the range of attoseconds, much shorter than anything comparable in electronics. Optical microresonator devices provide a very useful platform on which various signal processing functions can be achieved in a much smaller volume compared to bulk optics and with much smaller power. In this Thesis, we try to design and simulate the Add/Drop optical filter based on micro ring resonator for signals with quantum characteristic. In that means, we encounter with two challenges: First analyze and determine the behavior of quantum signals in micro ring resonators and secondly determine the structure of optical filter. To achive this goal, On second chapter we introduce some basic concepts of quantum mechanics, quantum communication and computation and some conventional notation in this field of science and additionally analyze and determine of characters and structure of micro ring resonators. Third chapter is dedicated to our works, final equations, results, conclusion and Suggestions
