فناوری¬های مدرن امروزه جایگاه ویژه¬ای در زندگی روزمره بشری پیدا کرده است . به موازات توسعه و گسترش نقش فناوری در زندگی روزمره، استفاده از فناوری در امور کیفری هم مرسوم شده است. استفاده از فناوری های نوین در امر پیشگیری از وقوع جرم جایگاه خود را پیدا کرده است اما در زمینه استفاده از تکنولوژی های نوین در مراحل پیش از دستگیری و در ضمن قرار های تأمین کیفری و مرحله اجرای حکم و خاصّه مرحله بعد از اتمام مجازات هنوز برخی شبهات و چالش هایی وجود دارد. استفاده از این ابزار ها در فرایند کیفری اگرچه مزیّت هایی را به همراه دارد؛ اما برخی مسائل و مشکلات خاص خود را نیز دارد؛ استفاده از این تکنولوژی ها اگر با برنامه ریزی و تلاش برای پیشگیری یا حل مشکلات و مسائلی که ممکن هنگام استفاده از این تکنولوژی¬ها عارض شود، همراه باشد مطمئناً نتایج مثبتی را نصیب دستگاه عدالت کیفری خواهد کرد. در این پایان نامه که توصیفی و تحلیلی و به روش کتابخانه ای می-باشد، پس از بیان کلیات و مبانی و تاریخچه استفاده از فناوری های نوین در فرایند عدالت کیفری و معرفی¬برخی از این تکنولوژی¬¬¬¬ها، مزایای این ابزار ها و مسائلی¬که در صورت استفاده از این ابزار ها ممکن است حادث شود، پرداخته شده است و پیشنهاد ¬هایی را برای حل این مسائل بیان شده است.

AbstractNowadays, the use of new technologies in the personal and social life of humans is so advanced that even the thought of doing small things without using these tools seems impossible. Along with the development and expansion of the role of modern technologies in everyday life, the use of new technologies in the criminal process has also become commonplace. Today, the police have resorted to the use of up-to-date technologies in order to better deal with criminals cases. Judicial authorities are also using any tool that could allow the defendants to be monitored while in public, to avoid criticism of the detainees. The effectiveness of these technologies in monitoring human beings has led to the addition of a new executive guarantee based on the use of new technologies to the list of detention alternatives. The use of new technologies in the criminal process is not limited to the enforcement of punishment, and in some countries today, the use of modern technologies provides for the monitoring and control of dangerous offenders after the end of the sentence
