During the past ۲۰ years, canola has passed peanut, sunflower and, most recently, cottonseed in worldwide production. Its components have been altered through genetic selection which markedly reduced its detrimental components. There is growing interest within the feed industry to use full-fat oilseeds in poultry diets. Full-fat canola seed contains approximately ۴۰ oil and ۲۲ protein and is, therefore, a valuable source of energy and protein for poultry diets. In addition to providing a considerable amount of energy, the oil of canola seed is an excellent source of ?-linolenic acid (۱۸:۳?۳, ۸ to ۱۲ ) which has been shown to be important for human health. There are not enough data of nutrient composition of full-fat canola seed in the country. Therefore after determining nutrient composition consist of chemical compounds, mineral content and gross energy in three varieties of canola seed, true metabolizable energy content was evaluated with or within processing. The effect of variety and processing (heat treatment and multi enzyme supplementation) on metabolizable energy were investigated in a TMEn assay with adult roosters. In order to heat treatment, seeds were heated at ۱۲۰۰c for about ۳ hours with an electrical oven. The multi enzyme supplementation Natuzyme (Bioproton, PTY. LTD. AU.) consist of phytase U/g, were evaluated at an inclusion level of ۰.۱ . The average TMEn content of grounded canola seeds was ۵۵۱۳ kcal/kg and there was a significant difference between three varieties of canola seed (p<۰. Heat treatment increased TMEn content of canola seed, but it was not statistically significant, however the TMEn content of grounded canola seed was not affected by multi enzyme supplementation. Between chemical compositions, crude ASH was the best choice to predict AMEn and TMEn. The best equation to predict TMEn was: TMEn=۱۷۱۰۵ + ASH * (-۱۳۰۷۳)
