معادله دیفرانسیل (۱) را در نظر می‌گیریم که در آن یک پارامتر مستقل ازx و دارای nنقطه برگردان و کراندار و انتگرال‌پذیر است .با استفاده از جوابهای بدست آمده در]۷[ برای دو جواب مستقل خطی معادله (۱) وقتی که فرم مجانبی مقادیر ویژه را برای شرایط مرزی جدا از هم بدست می‌آوریم .نشان می دهیم نتایج بدست آمده با نتایج اتکینسون _مینگرالی ]۵[ وقتی تابع وزن تغییر علامت می‌دهد مطابقت دارد

We consider the second order differential equation of the for (1) on the interval , where contains a finite number of zeros of , the so called turning-points and is a real parameter independent of . Using asymptotic estimates proved in [7] for an appropriate fundamental system of solutions of (1) for ,we derive the leading term of the asymptotic form of eigenvalues corresponding to the separated boundary condition .We see that the leading term of the asymptotic distribution of the eigenvalues consider with the results of Atkinson and Mingarelli's [5]
